COLUMBIA — Kim English, a guard on the Missouri men's basketball team, has withdrawn his name from the 2011 NBA Draft and will return to the Tigers for his senior season, according to a news release from the MU athletics department.
English, a 6-foot-6 guard from Baltimore, Md., was one of five Tigers to average in double figures in scoring last season, with 10 points per game, while shooting 37 percent from 3-point range. English was also third on the club with 67 assists and was fourth with 42 steals.
"Putting my name into the draft allowed me to get some meaningful information that will help me grow as a player," English said in the release. "It was a positive experience for me, and it has me excited for my senior season."
With the return of English and teammate Laurence Bowers, Missouri will return 10-of-11 letter winners from last season's 23-11 campaign.
