State Historical Society to host reception for renowned wildlife photographer

COLUMBIA – The State Historical Society of Missouri will host a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday for renowned wildlife photographer Glenn Chambers. 

At the reception, Chambers will discuss some of his work and the techniques he has used to obtain it. He will also show some of the equipment he uses, according to a release from the State Historical Society. The reception will take place at the office of the State Historical society, located on the Ellis Library ground floor.

Chambers has been a wildlife photographer for more than 50 years and his work has taken him from Missouri to the Arctic among other places, according to the release.

The event is  free and is open to the public.
