COLUMBIA — There was an attempted armed robbery at 8:01 a.m. Friday at Flow's Pharmacy, 1506 E. Broadway.

A man came into the pharmacy and showed a 2- to 3-inch silver knife, according to a release from the Columbia Police Department. Officers were dispatched while the attempt was in progress. Nothing was stolen.

Witnesses described the man as a white male in his mid-20s who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds, the release stated. He was wearing all black and drove away in a cream- or pearl-colored Lexus sport utility vehicle, according to the release.

Employees think the suspect is the same one who robbed them on March 17.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call police or CrimeStoppers at 875-8477, or log onto their website.
