ST. LOUIS — Pamela Tarpley is relishing her Mother's Day gift.

The St. Louis woman is a $1 million winner, thanks to a Missouri Lottery scratch-off ticket purchased by her husband as a gift for Mother's Day. The Lottery announced details on Tuesday.

The "$5 Million Cash Extravaganza" ticket revealed a $1 million prize for the mother of four. Tarpley, a medical coder, opted for the one-time cash award of $620,000.

Asked what she plans to give her husband for Father's Day, Tarpley admits it will be hard to top his gift to her.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Shop 'n Save store in Kirkwood.
