COLUMBIA – Missouri's Molly Kreklow will be a setter for USA Volleyball's Women's Junior National team this summer.

Kreklow, a sophomore who helped the Tigers reach the Sweet 16 in last year’s NCAA Tournament, is one of two setters that have been selected to the junior national team's 12-person roster. Oregon setter Lauren Plum also made the team.

The team will represent the United States at the FIVB Women’s Junior World Championship on July 20 to 31 in Peru. The team will train from July 10 to 19 at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif., under the direction of Saint Mary's coach Rob Browning.

Kreklow was named AVCA Central Region Freshman of the Year after being ranked second in the Big 12 in assists per set (11.70) last season at Missouri. She was a setter for the 2010 junior national team that swept the Dominican Republic at that season's NORCECA Women’s Junior Continental Championship.
