FULTON — The trial of a central Missouri man charged with killing three people and wounding a fourth last year will be held in Boone County.

Joshua Maylee is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the Oct. 26 killings of Eugene and Jackie Pinet at their home and Jeffrey Werdehausen at his home, all in Callaway County. He's also charged with shooting Werdehausen's wife, who survived.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

KRCG-TV reports that a Callaway County Circuit Court judge on Monday granted Maylee's request for a change of venue.

Maylee is already held in the Boone County jail. He was moved last November because his uncle worked at the Callway County Sheriff's Department.
