The opening day of the NCAA softball tournament has been postponed because of rain, according to a news release from the athletics department. The Friday games have been pushed to Saturday, with the first five games of the tournament tentatively scheduled to be played should weather and time allow it. If action does not start at 10 a.m., game five will be moved to Sunday.
