Andy Lee chosen for Planning and Zoning Commission

COLUMBIA — The Columbia City Council appointed Andy Lee to the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday. He received four of seven votes. The vacancy now filled by Lee expires May 31, 2012.

The other candidates for the vacancy were Frederick Carroz III, Brandon Crews, Michele Nix, Vivek Puri, Glenn Rice, former Third Ward Councilman Karl Skala, and former mayoral candidate Sid Sullivan. 

Mayor Bob McDavid said the list of candidates was "loaded with talented, smart people."
