The USA Softball team, which includes Missouri pitcher Chelsea Thomas and outfielder Rhea Taylor, has won its first four exhibition games, all against the USA Junior Women’s National Team.

The teams have played two doubleheaders — one in Plant City, Fla. and one in Salem, Va. The USA Softball team won the four games by a combined score of 33-3.

Thus far, Thomas has a 2-0 record and a 0.00 earned run average. She has allowed eight hits, struck out four batters and issued zero walks in nine innings pitched.

The USA Softball Team and the Junior National Team will play one more doubleheader on July 1 before USA softball travels to British Columbia for the Canadian Open FastPitch International Championship the following week.
