COLUMBIA — Greg Fike shot his first hole-in-one Saturday at the annual Shelter Insurance Golf Tournament.

Fike, a 30-year-old computer programmer from Columbia, used a wedge on the 135-yard, par-3 17th hole at Lake of the Woods Golf Course to make the shot.

Tournament teammates Rick McVeigh, Don McCubbin and Brian Fick witnessed the shot. The group finished in third place at the event, which was a fundraiser that gathered $3,100 for the Rock Bridge girls golf team.
