COLUMBIA — Missouri football's ninth annual Fan Day is set for Sunday at Faurot Field.

The free event offers Tiger fans a chance to meet players and coaches, who will sign autographs on the field between 3:45 and 5:15 p.m. Players will be available to sign one item per fan. Fans also will receive a free poster with the team's schedule at the event.

A news release from MU Athletics said parking will be free in any of the lots near Memorial Stadium, and Gates 1 and 2W will be open for entrance to Fan Day.

According to the MU Athletics website, plenty of water will be available for free, but fans are encouraged to bring their own sealed bottled water as well. Outside food and drink other than water will not be permitted.

Sunday is forecast to be mostly sunny with a high near 93 degrees.
