Missouri football ranked No. 21 in preseason coaches' poll

The Missouri football team is ranked No. 17 in the preseason USA Today Coaches' poll released Thursday.
The Tigers, which finished 10-3 and No. 18 in 2010, received 266 points in the poll.
Four additional Big 12 Conference teams earned spots in the poll. Oklahoma will start the season ranked No. 1 after getting 1,454 points. Oklahoma State in ranked No. 8, Texas A&M is ranked No. 9, and Texas is ranked No. 24.
Missouri's first practice is at 3:45 p.m. Thursday. It opens the season against Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 3.
