COLUMBIA — Residents will have the opportunity to sample Columbia's high school musical talent from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the parking garage at Sixth and Cherry streets.

The "Teen Garage Band Bash" will feature the musical stylings of bands Project Hysteria, Guilty Party, Word Prophet, and Searching, said Erin Carrillo, a recreation specialist with Columbia Parks and Recreation.

Admission will cost $2, and the event will be sponsored by Columbia Parks and Recreation, Columbia Public Works and the Youth Community Coalition.
