Columbia College's Burchard to be inducted into NAIA Hall of Fame

COLUMBIA — Bob Burchard, the Columbia College athletic director and men's basketball coach, will be inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame.

Burchard, who has been part of Cougars athletics for the past 23 years, has been named American Midwest Conference coach of the year seven times, holds the program's record for wins and has led the team to the NAIA Championships 15 times. He has also had 75 student-athletes earn academic all-conference honors.

Burchard will be honored at the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championships on March 13 in Kansas City.
