COLUMBIA — Brad Baldwin, Corey Draughon and Michael Jones from Nelson's Tree Service trim dead limbs from a silver leaf maple tree on Stewart Road on Thursday.

Draughon estimates that the tree is 80 years old.

Removal of the dead limbs on a tree is one of the recommended storm preparations.
