COLUMBIA — Columbia Parks and Recreation is celebrating the end of the swimming season with the Pooch Plunge on Tuesday.

The annual event invites dogs to swim in and enjoy the pool before it is closed for the year.

The plunge will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Albert-Oakland Family Aquatic Center on 1900 Blue Ridge Road. The cost is $4 per dog, and participants must pre-register by visiting the Parks and Recreation office or by calling 874-7460 to pay with Visa or MasterCard.
