The Missouri Tigers got their first road win of the season Sunday in Fort Worth, beating the TCU Horned Frogs 2-0.

Sophomore striker Alyssa Diggs scored Missouri's first goal in the eighth minute after a through ball and a long run. It was Diggs' third goal of the season.

Freshman midfielder Taylor Grant secured Missouri's win with a goal in the 66th minute. Grant has scored three goals this season.

Sunday's was the fifth win in a row for the Tigers, whose record improved to 5-1-0.

Coach Bryan Blitz was pleased with the performance of his players.

"It was a well-earned win by every single person," Blitz said. "Hopefully we will build on it and continue to improve."

The Tigers are set to continue their series of away matches Friday when they play against the University of Arizona Wildcats in Tempe, Ariz.
