COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge High School volleyball team got its first win of the season against Boonville High School with 25-17, 25-21 victory Thursday night in Boonville.

Sophomore twins Kayla and Chayla Cheadle had a big night with strong hits, coach Tatum Anderson said.

Anderson also said the defense was great, and it was a collective effort.

The Bruins look to continue their new winning streak as they start the William Chrisman Tournament on Saturday in Independence.
