Columbia College soccer team defeats John Brown

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College men's soccer team earned their fourth win of the season Saturday with a 4-0 victory over visiting John Brown University. The win moves the Cougars, No. 23 in the NAIA, to 4-1-0 for the season.

The Cougars led 3-0 at intermission with goals from Dylan Barduzzi, Parker Rawdon and Brian Eike. Assists were given to Yudai Yamaguchi, Liam Cain, Eike and two from Adam McChesney.

In the second half, Eike scored his second goal of the game unassisted.

Matt McKenna scored the shutout for Columbia, his fourth of the season, posting four saves. The Cougars recorded 10 shots on goal in the match.

Columbia College will play next at 7 p.m. Wednesday when they host new conference member Benedictine-Springfield.
