MISSION, Kan. — Authorities in the Kansas City metro area are investigating another bank holdup by a cross-dressing robber.

It's the fourth such holdup since July in the region. One occurred in Kansas City and the others just across the state line in Johnson County, Kan.

KSHB-TV reports that a man dressed as a woman held up a Mission Bank branch just before noon Monday in Mission, Kan.

The FBI said it's not yet clear if the robber is the same man who held up a U.S. Bank branch in Prairie Village last month and a U.S. Bank in Roeland Park on July 26.

A cross-dressing man also robbed an M&I Bank on July 22 near the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.
