CHERRY HILL — DeSpain Cayce Dermatology Center and Medical Spa will hold its Fall Fling Thursday.

This is the second Fall Fling event hosted by the DeSpain Cayce Medical Spa.

"I started out just wanting to have an annual event to thank our patients. But, as I started planning it I thought it would be great to have other local businesses get on board too," said Stephanie Flakne, the DeSpain Cayce Medical Spa practice administrator and organizer of the Fall Fling. "There are a lot of giveaways, live music and free food; it's a lot of fun."

Many of the businesses from the Village of Cherry Hill will participate in the Fall Fling.

"There will be vendor booths set up, and every booth is giving away something," said Krista Kippenberger, president of the Cherry Hill Business Association and office manager for Focus on Health Chiropractic. "I'm going to be a vendor for Focus on Health Chiropractic. I look forward to showing people what acupuncture can do for them."

In addition to the prize giveaways, there will be free food and drinks, and live music from the Norm Ruebling Band. Timothy McGarity of The Vision Correction Practice of Dr. Timothy D. McGarity will be giving away a Bilateral LASIK procedure at the event through a drawing. The DeSpain Cayce Medical Spa will also be doing a live Botox demonstration and makeup with Jane Iredale, a mineral makeup line carried at the medical spa.

The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri will also be collecting donations at the event.

"I just love it when people learn about all the great things that our locally owned businesses have to offer," Flakne said. "And, of course, its great to see everyone having a great time."

The general public is welcome to join the fun. The event will be held at the Cherry Hill Event Center from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
