Columbia College volleyball records road sweep

Columbia College moved to 2-0 in American Midwest Conference play after a 26-24, 25-14, 25-12 victory Tuesday at Hannibal-LaGrange. The Cougars moved to 8-2 overall.

NAIA National Volleyball Player of the Week Paula Ferreira recorded 36 assists and eight digs for Columbia College. Teammate Vesna Trivunovic led the team with 17 kills.

The Cougars rank sixth nationally in the latest NAIA poll. William Woods visits Columbia College at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
