WACO, Texas — Three suspected bank robbers caught in Mexico have been indicted over holdups in Texas and Missouri.

On Tuesday, a federal grand jury in Waco indicted Jeffrey Brent Heckman, 25, Jacob Thomas Norris, 23, and Alexia Quentasha Baker, 23, all from Macon. Each has been charged with conspiracy to commit bank robbery and bank robbery.

Norris and Baker are also charged with being accessories after the fact.

Prosecutors said the suspects have been linked to the July 8 holdup of Merchants & Farmers Bank in Columbia and the July 11 robbery of Texell Credit Union in Temple, Texas.

Heckman, Norris and Baker were arrested Sept. 5 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, then deported the next day. Investigators said all three have appeared in court in Houston, pending transfer to Waco.
