The Missouri women's volleyball team lost 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-20 to Western Kentucky on Friday at the American Classic in Washington, D.C.

Sophomore Lisa Henning had a team-high and season-high 17 kills for the Tigers, while fellow sophomore Molly Kreklow had her second double-double of the season with 35 assists and a season-best 14 digs.

Missouri won the first set, led by Henning and senior Brittney Brimmage, who each had four kills. The Tigers held Western Kentucky to .103 hitting average for the set.

However, even though Missouri led in each of the next three sets, Western Kentucky rallied back with late runs to win the match.

The Tigers are now 11-3 this season and continue the American Classic on Saturday with matches at 12:30 p.m. against Villanova and at 6 p.m. against American University.
