Hickman boys runners fifth at Hazelwood Central Invitational

The Hickman cross country teams raced Saturday morning at the Hazelwood Central Invitational in St. Louis.

The Kewpies boys team placed fifth out of 28 teams. Senior Devin Sander placed second overall. Kewpies senior Bobby Hanson finished 25th, and junior Ethan Zars was 34th out of the 159 boys competing.

Only three Hickman girls ran. Individually, Kewpies junior Nicole Mello won the girls race for the second week in a row. She finished at Hazelwood Central in 19 minutes, 26 seconds.

The Kewpies will race at the Rolla Invitational next weekend.
