Columbia College men's soccer shuts out Missouri Baptist

Columbia College’s men's soccer team shut out Missouri Baptist 1-0 on Tuesday in St. Louis.

The No. 17-ranked Cougars moved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the American Midwest Conference while Missouri Baptist fell to 0-7-1 and 0-1 in conference play.

The Cougars went ahead in the 82nd minute when senior Dylan Barduzzi scored off an assist by junior Yudai Yamaguchi. The shutout was the fifth for Cougars goalkeeper Matt McKenna.

Columbia College will host Truman State University at 7 p.m. Friday at R. Marvin Owens Soccer Stadium.
