The Rock Bridge girls golf team won the William Woods Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton.

Senior Morgan Reimler shot a 79 on the par-72 course to earn medalist honors for the Bruins, who totaled 339 as a team. Hickman shot 364 to place second, and Helias Catholic was third with 375.

Rock Bridge junior Makayla Baker shot an 80 to place second. Three others placed in the top 10 for the Bruins: Junior Megan Goree shot an 89, junior Kaitlyn Marsh a 91 and sophomore Amanda Baker a 93 to place seventh, eighth and tenth, respectively.

"We needed a little bit of a confidence boost, and it was good to get some of those shots we've been missing," Rock Bridge coach Melissa Melahn said. "We still have some things we need to work on before districts, but this is good way to round out our regular season."

Hickman juniors Laura Rowe and Patricia DeCastro both shot 86 at the tournament, but Rowe won the scorecard playoff to place fourth and DeCastro fifth.
