COLUMBIA — Autumn begins Friday, but some visitors to Stephens Lake Park enjoyed Thursday's cool and sunny weather.

Pam Stokes journals and meditates on the banks of Stephens Lake at Stephens Lake Park on Thursday afternoon. An MU class on Qigong inspired Stokes to visit the park. "I hardly ever come by myself," Stokes said. "And I'd like to come more often, but life is so busy."
