COLUMBIA — MU's Office of Financial Success will host a financial preparedness fair Saturday at Columbia Public Library.

The office will collaborate with Tigers Credit Union to discuss how to budget, enhance a credit score and protect against identity theft, according to an MU news release. One-on-one counseling sessions will also be provided for Columbia residents, the release stated.

According to its website, the financial success office is a service of the MU Department of Personal Financial Planning and College of Human Environmental Sciences.

The fair is free and open to the public. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Friends Room at the library, 100 W. Broadway. Supervised childcare will be provided.
