COLUMBIA — West Junior High will celebrate Spirit Week beginning Monday. Each day students are urged to participate in the daily theme.

  • Monday: Twin Day — dress identical to someone or a group of people.
  • Tuesday: Crazy Day — wear mismatched clothing.
  • Wednesday: Blast From the Past — choose a decade from the '60s to the present and dress appropriately.
  • Thursday: Blue Out — football game at Hickman High School.
  • Friday: Neon Day — wear bright colors.

The school is in mid-season for football and volleyball.

Spirit Week is meant to boost spirit for the rest of the season, including homecoming in October, Assistant Principal Daniel Rector said.

The school will also have a kick-off fundraiser Thursday morning.
