Missouri women's basketball player Flores selected for Pan American Games

Missouri senior Christine Flores was selected Tuesday to playfor the U.S. women's basketball team at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico from Oct. 21-25. 

The team opens training camp Oct. 15 and consists of 11 college players and one high school senior.

The United States is in Group A with Argentina, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Flores, a 6-3 forward from San Antonio, averaged 13 points per game for the Tigers last season and started 25 of the team's 31 games.
