Play our Mizzou trivia Twitter contest to win football tickets

Friday, October 7, 2011 | 5:38 p.m. CDT; updated 8:57 p.m. CDT, Sunday, October 9, 2011

Leading up to the celebration of Mizzou’s 100th anniversary of Homecoming, the Missourian will be hosting a Twitter trivia contest. It'll work like this: We will tweet out questions about Mizzou sports, Mizzou history and the university in general. You send us the correct answer, and you could be the big winner.

The prize: Four tickets to the Texas Tech-Missouri football game on Nov. 19.

Some details: At random intervals between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. central time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday, the @CoMissourian Twitter account will tweet questions about MU. Five tweets will be sent out each day. The first person to publicly reply (no direct messages) to the @CoMissourian account with the correct answer will earn a spot in a prize drawing, to be held at 5:15 p.m. Thursday. Winners will be notified on Twitter through a reply and a direct message. Winners will also be posted on the Columbia Missourian’s Facebook page.

Rules:
1. You must be following @CoMissourian on Twitter to be eligible to win.
2. Current employees of the Missourian and Vox Magazine are not eligible to win.
3. You can pick up the tickets in person at the Columbia Missourian, 221 S. Eighth St. If you're from out of town, we can mail them to you.
