MANHATTAN, Kan. — Missouri made a late run Saturday, but ultimately fell 24-17 at the hands of Kansas State.

Kansas State jumped out to a 24-3 lead with 11:23 to go in the fourth quarter, when quarterback Collin Klein ran in for a touchdown from one yard out to administer what appeared to be the final blow.

But Missouri rallied to get it to 24-17 with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, first a two-yard Henry Josey run followed quickly by a James Franklin one-yard sneak with 5:02 remaining.

However, the Tigers couldn't get the ball back, surrendering a final first down when Dominique Hamilton was flagged for a personal foul on what would have been a third-down stop.
