The Missouri baseball team raised $12,496 to help rebuild Joplin's baseball fields through playing two exhibition games against Iowa over the weekend.

Missouri and Iowa played so Joplin's Little League might resume play this year after a May 22 tornado tore through the city.

Missouri sold $3,710 in tickets, $2,250 in jerseys and collected $4,081 in donations. There were also concession sales, a silent auction and a raffle.
