COLUMBIA — A man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography Tuesday.

The sentencing of Ansel Lenser, 26, is scheduled for Dec. 12, Detective Andy Anderson said.

In November 2010, the Boone County Sheriff's Department Cyber Crimes Task Force started investigating a home computer network in Columbia sharing child pornography, according to a news release from the task force. In December, the task force found more child pornography files, some of which seemed to be of prepubescent children.

When the precise location of the computer was determined, a search warrant was served, and two computers containing child pornography files were seized.

Lenser was arrested by task force investigators Feb. 8, according to previous Missourian reporting.
