COLUMBIA — An Ashland man pleaded guilty to a felony charge of sexual assault on Tuesday.

According to the probable cause statement, David Lee Harris Jr., 21, had sexual intercourse with a female acquaintance without her consent on Dec. 4, 2009.

The two were at a party on Belleview Drive in Ashland, according to a previous story in the Missourian.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crime lab collected evidence, and an arrest warrant was issued for Harris in January. Investigators suspected he was staying with a friend at Blue Acres Mobile Home Park in Columbia, and after receiving an anonymous tip, they arrested him at the park.

According to Missouri Casenet, Harris' sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 28.
