Columbia College volleyball team stays undefeated in AMC

The Columbia College volleyball team remained undefeated in conference play with a 25-20, 25-23, 28-30, 25-18 victory over Missouri Baptist on Wednesday in St. Louis.

The Cougars, ranked No. 3 in the latest NAIA poll, improved to 8-0 in the American Midwest Conference with the win over No. 17 Missouri Baptist. Columbia College is now 18-2 overall this season.

Junior Paula Ferreira, who was named NAIA Volleyball Player of the Week on Tuesday, finished with 58 assists, five kills and 10 digs. It was the second time this season she has received the honor.

Senior Serena Jenks had 17 kills and 13 digs for Columbia College. Vesna Trivunovic contributed 16 kills and three aces.
