Friday, October 14, 2011 | 12:23 p.m. CDT

Motorcyclists will ride for Christmas toys Oct. 29.

The 31st annual Columbia Toy Run is being hosted this year by the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

"Everyone is welcome," said Dave Albin, who co-directs the chapter with his wife.

The ride will begin in the Walmart parking lot at 1201 Grindstone Parkway and finish at the Salvation Army Community Center, 1108 Ash St., where bikers will serve a free homemade chili.

Sign-in is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m, and the parade starts at 2:00 p.m.

Suggested donation for entry is a toy or one nonperishable food item.

For more information, call chapter directors Dave and Marilyn Albin at 875-0660.
