Missouri jumped out to a 28-3 lead, scoring touchdowns on each of its first three possessions.

James Franklin ran in for a one-yard sneak, Henry Josey turned a fumble recovery into a one-yard touchdown run and Franklin found Michael Egnew on a 39-yard strike to finish out the scoring in the first quarter.

Turnovers plagued Missouri in the second quarter. Two Franklin interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, and a Bud Sasser fumble got in the way of Missouri extending its lead further.
