COLUMBIA — The National Pan-Hellenic Council's annual step show is a part of a long-standing tradition in MU's Black Homecoming.

The NPHC is composed of the nine historically black sororities and fraternities. Stepping is a rhythmic dance involving foot-stomping, hand-clapping, speaking and chanting. Within the sororities and fraternities, it is a way to bond with other members and learn about each group's history.
