Columbia College rolls past Hannibal-LaGrange

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College volleyball team defeated Hannibal-LaGrange 25-14, 25-9, 25-3 on Tuesday at Southwell Complex. The win improves the Cougar’s record to 23-2 overall and 11-0 in American Midwest Conference play.

Senior Vesna Trivunovic, this week's AMC Volleyball Player of the Week, led the Cougars with nine kills. Paula Ferreira added 27 assists, five kills and four digs.

This weekend, Columbia College, No. 3 in the latest NAIA rankings, travel to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Grandview University Invitational. On Friday, the Cougars play Jamestown College at 4 p.m. and Graceland University at 8 p.m. Then, on Saturday, they take on Illinois Tech University at noon followed by Grandview University.
