COLUMBIA — The Missouri United Methodist Church makes conscious efforts to reach out to the Columbia community beyond worship services through the organization and promotion of community outreach programs.

The goal of these programs is to open the church's doors to those who need help, regardless of their beliefs. One of these activities is Wednesday Night Live, a weekly event during which the church provides a free catered meal to both students and the homeless. The program also offers a chance to spend some time with other members of the community.
