COLUMBIA — Police arrested Demetrie Antwon Smith, 17, and Darius J. Robinson, 19, for fighting at Hickman High School Tuesday.

There were no injuries reported, police spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said.

A school administrator broke up the fight, which concerned a girl, Stroer said.

A Hickman resource officer called the Columbia Police Department, said Michelle Baumstark, Columbia Public School spokeswoman.

The altercation wasn't serious, Baumstark said, describing the incident as a "minor scuffle."

"We wouldn't even classify it as a fight," she said.

Baumstark said it is too soon to say whether the students will be suspended, but added that they will face a disciplinary hearing.

What is a 19 year old still doing at Hickman is the bigger question Louis.
