COLUMBIA — A 20-year-old Columbia woman said she was sexually assaulted in North Columbia on Saturday, near the intersection of Arctic Fox Drive and Smiley Lane.

Latisha Stroer, Columbia police spokeswoman, said details cannot be disclosed at this time because the investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been made, she said.

The woman was looking for a nearby residence around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, when several men in a passing car yelled at her, according to Stroer.

The woman accepted a ride when someone in the car claimed to know the residence she sought, Stroer said.

Stroer said police were dispatched to University Hospital around 11:15 p.m., where the woman had driven herself..
