Rock Bridge first, Hickman third in district soccer seeding

COLUMBIA - The Rock Bridge High School boys soccer team received the No. 1 seed for the Class 3 District 9 tournament it will host beginning on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The Bruins (21-3) will play Monday, Oct. 31 against the winner of Washington and Smith-Cotton, the No. 4 and 5 seeds. Rock Bridge, ranked No. 1 in Class 3, didn't play Washington this season, but defeated Smith-Cotton 6-0 in Sedalia on Sept. 26.

Hickman High School (8-14) received the No. 3 seed and will play on Monday, Oct. 31 against No. 2 seed Jefferson City. The Jays defeated the Kewpies 4-1 in Jefferson City earlier this season.
