The Missouri volleyball team lost at No. 10 Texas on Saturday night at Gregory Gymnasium in Austin, Texas.

Missouri fell in straight sets 25-17, 25-19, 25-14 to fall to 17-8 overall and 3-5 in Big 12 Conference play.

Freshman middle blocker Whitney Little was Missouri's top performer in the match. A native of Keller, Texas, Little recorded a team-best 10 kills. Sophomore Lisa Henning had nine kills but struggled with 11 attack errors for the match.

Missouri kept things close in the first and second sets, but were unable to muster up enough offense to win either. After intermission, Texas jumped out to a 8-3 lead in the third set and Missouri never recovered.

The Missouri volleyball team will return to action on Wednesday night when they travel to Manhattan, Kan., for a match with Kansas State. The match will be televised on Fox Sports Kansas City.
