COLUMBIA — Columbia Public Schools' secondary enrollment planning committee has narrowed its list of possible school boundary scenarios to three.
It will present these scenarios to the public at 9 a.m. Thursday at the district's offices at 1818 W. Worley St.
Each scenario has two maps, one for high school boundaries and one for intermediate school boundaries. When the boundary changes take effect, middle and junior high schools will be merged into intermediate schools for grades six through eight, and high schools will include ninth-graders.
Committee chairman Don Ludwig will give a presentation on the methods and goals the group used in drawing the boundaries.
Parents and community members are invited for questions, comments and for help learning where their children would attend school under the proposed boundaries.
