COLUMBIA  — The Columbia College volleyball team  reached 10 straight winning sets with a 25-14, 25-11, 25-13 win over Lindenwood University-Belleville on Wednesday night at the Arena at Southwell Complex.

Senior Vesna Trivunovic continues to lead the team in kills, and had with 13 Wednesday. Middle hitter Ola Shawky added 10 kills.

With just four games to play before the American Midwest Conference tournament, the Cougars have begun preparation for the postseason by doing lunges every day, including after games.

"We'll do it from now until the end of the season after everything we do, just so we have strong legs by the end of the season," coach Melinda Wrye-Washington said.

The Cougars continue play Friday against William Woods University in Fulton.
