The Missouri volleyball team dropped another five-set match to Kansas State on Wednesday night in Manhattan, Kan.

Missouri lost 21-25, 25-13, 25-16, 21-25, 15-11 to Kansas State. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 17-9 overall and 3-6 in Big 12 Conference play.

Senior middle blocker/outside hitter Brittney Brimmage was Missouri's top performer. She recorded 13 kills and six blocks. Freshman Emily Wilson and sophomore Lisa Henning chipped in with 12 kills each.

Missouri started off strong taking the opening set before dropping the next two. In the fourth set, the Tigers got back in the match thanks to a stellar set from Wilson. In the deciding fifth set, Missouri kept things close, but Kansas State's Kaitlynn Pelger was too strong. Pelger's 20th kill of the match secured the set and the match for the Wildcats.

The Missouri volleyball team will return to action on Saturday night against Oklahoma at the Hearnes Center.
