Monday, October 31, 2011 | 5:30 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Warning: If you have a low tolerance for cuteness, this topic area is not for you.

As Columbia celebrates Halloween, Missourian staff has been haunting celebrations to take photos of your little monsters, princesses and superheroes to share via our Halloween album on Facebook.

We invite you to click through the Facebook gallery. If you see yourself, feel free to share just that photo on your own wall, or send it to someone whose kids you recognize.

You can also share your own costume photos by posting them on our Facebook wall or by emailing them to When sharing photos of your children, please tell us their first names, ages and what they're dressed up as. (We wouldn't want to misidentify the costume!)

Over the weekend we took photos at The District's Halloweenie event, the Activity and Recreation Center's "Track" 'n' Treat and Parkade Baptist Church's Trunk or Treat.

We are out and about on Monday to get more photos, so keep checking back.
